This charming vacation villa is located in the village of SS. Annunziata on the outskirts of Lucca. Villa Patrizia has sections dating to the 15th and 18th century. The home has been tastefully and beautifully restored by the owner, an artist and traditional \"lucchese\" fabric designer with a shop on the villa grounds. Many of the owner\'s fabrics are used throughout the villa. The home has terra cotta tile floors and many original frescoes which have never been retouched. Beautiful furnishings and great attention to detail are evident throughout this stately home. The villa has a lovely Italian garden and is surrounded by mature trees and an ancient wall. The price includes a wonderful traditional Tuscan welcome dinner upon arrival Saturday evening.
The ground floor of Villa Patrizia consists of an entrance hall/salon seating area with baby grand piano, living room with satellite TV, large dining room with a magnificent antique sideboard, breakfast room and kitchen. The large kitchen is equipped with stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave. A separate laundry area has a combination washer/dryer. 12 people can be accommodated in the 6 gracious bedrooms. On the ground floor you find 2 bedrooms. The first is a bedroom/study with a high quality queen sofabed with adjoining full bath with shower, and the second bedroom has 2 twin beds with bath ensuite. Upstairs you will find 4 queen bedrooms, 1 with ensuite bath with jacuzzi and shower and another with ensuite bath with shower. The third and fourth bedrooms share an adjacent bath with shower. There is another salon/sitting area on this floor. The entire Villa is air-conditioned. Here in the heart of one of many wine-producing areas of Italy, your home-away-from-home is an ideal location for short jaunts to the most renowned sites of Tuscany. Florence is less than an hour away by car, and Forte dei Marmi for golf and the famous beaches of the Medtiterranean only a half hour. Pietrasanta, the artists\' town is a must see. Pisa and Carrara and the Michelangelo marble caves are nearby as well.

The city of Lucca attracts tourists from around the world to its historic sights. The Duomo Cathedral, St. Michael\'s Church and the streets and squares of Old Town are favorite destinations. A three mile series of ramparts, complete with eleven bastions and four gateways was erected around the city in the 16th and 17th centuries for protection. It\'s fun for the energetic to walk the length of this wall.
