Description
Driving through San Giuliano's gates and catching a glimpse of the beautiful house through the exotic palm trees is just the beginning of the magic. This is one of the most beautiful historic villas in Sicily and must be seen to be believed. The Villa Giuliano has been owned by the same Sicilian noble family since the 12th century.
Its elegant and grand interiors transport you back in time, while modern luxury keeps you comfortable in the present.
Exotically planted gardens and fragrant citrus groves encircle the villa. San Giuliano is a haven of tranquillity, beauty, and exceptional hospitality located near the coast on this historic and colourful island.
The lovely gardens (part of the Great Italian Gardens Network and occasionally open for private visits) are filled with fragrant citrus groves, palm trees, a variety of plants and trees, and meticulously manicured lawns.
The pool area is surrounded by palm trees, which provide natural shade while lying under the deep blue Sicilian sky with a glass of chilled white wine.
Behind the pool is the exotic hortus conclusus, the Andalucian-Arabic Garden, which includes numerous water features and Mediterranean fragrances.
The fenced tennis court is conveniently located near the pool and garden area. The Villa Giuliano is part of a larger farm of 55 hectares that includes citrus groves, vineyards, olive groves, and other types of cultivation.
In the background, you can see the majestic Mount Etna.
Ideal for a large family gathering or a special occasion with friends, where guests can enjoy superb cuisine, complete luxury, and the magic of Sicily!
A large enclosed courtyard with a magnificent fig tree in the centre leads to the main house and other structures.
The house was recently restored, and the decor, fixtures, and fittings perfectly complement the beautiful antique furniture and collectible artwork that have been passed down through generations of this extraordinary family. Everything is of an extremely high standard.
