It is a large estate comprised of several elements, all of which are harmoniously integrated into its natural surroundings: the Manor House, the stable with the glasshouse, the park, and the spectacular swimming pool. The villa sleeps up to 20 guests in 9 bedrooms and 8.5 bathrooms. Special events, such as weddings, birthday celebrations, corporate meetings, etc. are all welcome at Villa Annone. Because of the park’s extraordinary beauty the Villa joined the FAI (Italian Environmental Foundation) Spring Event, thus opening its gates to the public. The huge park – more than six hectares (about 15 acres) - creates a fairytale atmosphere and forms an enchanting natural stage for every type of event. Through very meticulous care, the park\'s former glory was revived and cultivated. Today, guests can enjoy the variety of flora and fauna located on property. In every season the changing colors of these ancient fruit and cedar trees captivate; Spring and Autumn offers its most charming appearance. Scattered corners of rare beauty are revealed: a pond surrounded by weeping willows and a dense thicket, a fifty year-old rose garden lies behind the greenhouse and explodes each May into a rosebush of a thousand intensely colored roses. In front of the greenhouse, an orchard and a tunnel of climbing roses create a perfect setting for photo sets. Beside the Lake’s shores, a small pebble beach to relax and enjoy the beautiful natural settings and landscapes.
The large rectangular pool, surrounded by the park’s silence, is entirely made of large wedges of quartzite, and at night, thanks to clever lighting, projects magical shades and silvery reflections. Next to the swimming pool, easily accessible by a smooth staircase, there is a Jacuzzi pool that rests against a stone wall, with its own small waterfall. Outdoor showers are just on the other side of the stone wall, while at the bottom of the pool there are changing rooms and a service room.
This private villa is generally not open to the public as the owners still use it as their countryside retreat. It is made available only a few weeks per year to guests with discerning tastes and refined sensibilities.
The Villa’s interior design is an unfolding scenario of connected rooms, that, on one side, are dominated by the presence of the Lake and, on the other side, by the views of the park, thus creating an image of a green and blue painting. The furnishings enhance the interiors with elegance and optimal comfort.
On the ground floor a large, fully equipped, traditional kitchen is connected to the dining room, which, along with the subsequent large living room, enjoys a complete view of the Lake and the stunning surrounding landscape through outsized windows. A great original 17th Century fireplace dominates the living room that leads to the \"boiserie\". The upper floors are accessed by a wooden staircase that leads to the bedrooms, all furnished with tailor made fittings. On the last floor, there is a fully equipped game room, including billiards, foosball and ping pong tables. On the outside, a solitary cypress overlooks the villa giving it a unique look from the Lake.
Annone Brianza is only a few minute\' drive from Milano and Lecco.
Its location is ideal for a day’s visit to Como Lake, to Bellagio and to Varenna and the adjacent areas as well as several other small towns that surround this magnificent region. After a tour around the beautiful countryside guests return to Villa Annone for some peace and tranquility.
