Masia Grande is a gem in the Sitges area. This 10 bedroom villa can accommodate up to 26 guests. The location is fantastic. Great for walks in the Garraf Natural Park opposite. Only 40 minutes drive to the culture and shops of Barcelona, 35 minutes to the airport, 10 minutes to Sitges beaches, water sports, sailing, horse riding and golf courses, 5 minutes from tennis courts and 20 minutes to the famous Penedes & Cava wine regions where you can go on wine tours to famous Freixenet, Cordoniu and Torres vineyards.

For large families, groups of friends, weddings, reunions, Masia Grande is waiting to accommodate you!

July and August one week rentals are required. All other periods of the year it is possible to stay 4 or 5 nights. Please inquire for partial rental of the property during the low season starting in November.

All bathrooms have hairdryer, pool towels and bath towels.

There are two sitting rooms, both of which are very large. The first is an upstairs sitting area with 4 sofas, TV, DVD player, desk, DVD’s, games and videos.

The other is a reading room with two sofas, a window bench overlooking the front terrace and Garraf, TV, DVD player, desk, books, portable speaker with Bluetooth link.

Fibre optic broadband WIFI available throughout the villa.

There are two indoor dining rooms and two fully equipped open kitchens and breakfast room. The Masia (Catalan word for “Large country House”) also houses a Games/Party room, consisting of a pool table and ping- pong table. There are disco lights, large screen and projector, and yoga mats available.

Outside Area

There is a large communal outdoor dining area, seating up to 30 people, where you can enjoy the surrounding views of the Garraf Natural Park and Sitges sea in the distance. On sunny days, of which there are an average of 300 per year, feel free to use the Entertainment area including large private BBQ, comfortable chillout area/dance floor and bar purposely built for social gatherings. There are three car park areas (able to hold up to 18 cars)

The private pool is heated when temperatures are above 15° centigrade for an extended swimming season. (Please see charges)It is set away from the rest of the house, surrounded by a fence and wall. The steps leading into the pool itself make it great for children. There is a pool bar to enjoy refreshing drinks while sunbathing, and a lawned area with artificial grass for yoga sessions, wedding ceremonies or games.

The Holiday Rental quote includes:

English/Spanish speaking Home Manager to welcome you on arrival and be available to assist you during your stay,

Transportation:

A car is preferable as the villa is 20 minutes walk to the nearest supermarket and bus stop to Sitges or Barcelona. If you do not wish to hire a car then you can use taxi services. There is a very good and low cost train service from Sitges to Barcelona.

Thanks, it was a wonderful stay and the house is amazing. The house was so comfortable and thoughtfully stocked. Thanks for the welcome basket! We really appreciate the convenience of things like beach towels, pool toys and hair dryers. Coming from the US with our small suitcases those are the items we can’t bring and it really made our stay nice. A couple (very minor) suggestions next time you shop for the house: a larger drip coffee maker and a really large salad bowl. (Of course we’re Americans and we like everything big!).

The owner was helpful, flexible and very accomodating. The villa is full of quirky charm, each of the bedrooms having its own appeal and all but one its own great ensuite. The decor and furnishings are lovely and ecclectic giving a real home from home feel and comfort. The local staff too are proffessional, friendly and helpful and a local cook, María, cooked & served us a couple of wonderful and very generous meals by private arrangement. The pool was heated to a perfect temperature and…. we were lucky the weather was sunny and warm throughout, so we were able to use it daily. The views & birdsong are fabulous and it is a very tranquil spot, (though a short drive to lively Sitges & Barcelona), and you can take walks in the national park straight from the premises. We were 14 in our party and very comfortbly accomodated at dinning tables both in and outdoors and in the 9 bedrooms. My bed and linnen, atleast, was deliciously comfortable. We had a wonderful holiday and I am very happy to eagerly recommend this villa to others. Car is essential and i recommend SatNav.

I’ll certainly write a review, I loved the place. As I said in the first place we wanted somewhere where friends could visit, not least to see one of our daughters who was over from Australia for the first time in 18 months. It was perfect and allowed lots of people to come and go for short times. lovely meals overlooking the valley. Enjoyed the cycling in the garraf but barely scratched the surface of what was available so may need to come back!! Now struggling with hundreds of emails from the past two weeks so yours is a welcome distraction Many thanks for letting us have the place.

Yes we all had a wonderful time at the house, the villages surrounding the place and the beaches down in Villanova! We had good dinners outside on the terrasse and used the BBQ well and even prepared an amazing Paella!

We were delighted to have found the perfect property after many hours looking on line for somewhere to celebrate 3 family birthdays…. The property has something for everyone of all ages, from games room to a heated pool. Set in a private location with stunning views of the hills and yet only 30 minutes from Barcelona and even closer to Sitges. Lots of walks in the surrounding area. The property itself is charming with loads of history and a family home atmosphere. With modern bathrooms and plenty of hot water everyone was happy. Would definitely recommend it for large groups.

his is our final evening at the house, and the whole family would like to tell you how much we have enjoyed our time here. The house is just great, and is maintained at the highest level. It has all the amenities we could ask for – nothing is missing, and more. We enjoyed the kitchen, the living rooms, the pool (yes, we were sitting by the pool on Friday, and some of us actually spent time in the warm water), the library, the videos, and more.
