Description
La Perla is a large apartment (3860 sq. ft.)located inside a Palladian villa built in the second half of the 16th century by one of the most powerful and noble families of Venice. This Villa has always been a private home, a place of glamor and elegance; always open to convivial pleasure and at the same time a warm welcoming home. The Count and his family live here now, happily opening their doors to those who wish to appreciate it’s refined splendor. During their stay in La Perla, the guests will be able to visit the entire villa and the park, accompanied by the owners.
The villa is a beautiful and untouched example of renaissance architectural balance. The enormous 16th century complex in Palladian style is structured with a central main building which is flanked on both sides by arcaded wings (one of which houses the apartment) which frame an ‘Italian’ style garden with a fountain, Greek mythical statues, flower beds, lawns and bushes. The park is fully fenced and rich in wonderful plants and is pleasantly framed by long rows of horn beams, lime trees and oak trees, which meet in front of a lovely dove cote, a chapel and a large fish pond with running water. Other areas consist of woods with century old trees and numerous statues depicting realistic and fairy-like animals and humans.
Close to the main building, in a garden separated from the main park and reserved for the guests, there is a swimming pool (open May through October) surrounded by oleanders, roses and hydrangeas. The garden is complimented by a patio, a wooden table, ten chairs, six deck chairs and a BBQ/grill. A dressing room with pool towels (changed twice a week), extra chairs and a small refrigerator are accessible from the private garden. Other amenities are a soccer field (inside the park) and three mountain bikes. There is an ample parking by the apartment entrance.

Furniture and objects belonging to the family since 16th century, which have been conserved over the times, period paintings, objets d’arts and new matching furnishing create a warm and welcoming ambiance. The apartment was restored and partially refurnished in 2004, the walls have original marble plaster surface and most rooms have parquet floor and plaster decorated ceilings, while the bathrooms are furnished with hand painted ‘Vietri’ tiles and high standard bath furniture.

Second Floor: Double bedroom with a queen bed and en-suite bathroom (bathtub and shower), private sitting room with sofa, writing-desk and wardrobe. The entire suite has exposed beam ceilings and windows overlook the porch of the villa’s wing. On the right side of the landing, you enter a hallway that leads to the dining room (with a table for up to 8 people) and a well-equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, and toaster). Both the dining room and the hallway lead into the large living room, which has six windows on three sides and is furnished with a big sofa, two easy-chairs, four armchairs and a chaise lounger. This room is equipped with an open bar of spirits and liqueurs, TV, stereo CD and DVD player. Returning again to the landing, wooden stairs lead to the upper floor.
Third Floor: Double bedroom with a queen bed, writing desk, three chairs and two chests of drawers and ensuite bathroom (bathtub and shower); double bedroom with queen bed writing desk, chest of drawers and easy chair; sitting room with satellite TV and CD player, sofa and writing desk that leads to the last bedroom, a large room with two twin beds, easy chair, three chairs and two chests of drawers. These two bedrooms share a bathroom (bathtub and shower), which is reached through the sitting room. All the windows on the upper floor overlook the main Italian style garden and the villa’s façade.
Located within walking distance is the town of Levada, offering a market, grocery store, church, and bus station. Within 30 minutes, you can reach five different golf courses. Each course is located in a different landscape, from the hills to the plains, providing a high range of difficulty levels and panoramas to enjoy. The villa is in the middle of a wide area of excellent wine production, such as \"Breganze\" and \"Valpolicella\" vineyards located between Vincenza and Verona. The most selected wines produced here are: Pinot Bianco, Grigio and Nero, Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Refosco, and the well-known Prosecco. Visits to cellars are easy and delightful. Wine tasting excursions can be arranged by advanced booking. The villa has its own wine production as well.
