Description
This magnificent Domaine is composed of three unique properties which can host 32 people when rented all together. It has been renovated with love and craftsmen’ passion. Original buildings date from the thirteenth and the eighteenth century.
Through the gate and a long alley of apple trees and pastures, you arrive at this magical haven of Normandy. Around you, thirty hectares of woodlands invite you to reflect and appreciate the tranquil gifts and serenity of nature.
It is located close to the village of Arques-la-Bataille (Seine Maritime), a sub region of Normandy. It offers all amenities and great food shops and delicatessens.
The Main House
Situated in the middle of the Domaine, the house has 5 spacious bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom as well as 4 single beds under the roof space. It features a beautiful fireplace, a cosy kitchen with AGA oven and a cinema room. The main house entrance is also close to the large pond with pontoon.
The Barn
Dating from the middle age and completed in 1602, it has been restored for two years between 2016 and 2019. Its impressive glass roof and window can host your special gatherings, wedding or birthday ceremonies, concert or seminars. There is a bar and wine cellar at the centre of the building. A further 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms complete the accommodation.
The stable
Dating from 1810 and fully refurbished for two years. It offers all comfort accommodation with 4 lovely bedrooms (all en suite), one of which is on the ground floor. The kitchen overlooks the pastures and horses’ paddock.
Lastly, there is the old Baker’s Oven, with its timber frame house, typical of Normandy, which host a lounge with fireplace and a double bedroom upstairs. This is the perfect room for honeymooners or romantic moments.
