Description

Among the most renowned of the Burgundy villas, Chateau Aquila is a great place to start your exploration of the well-known wine route. Situated amidst vineyards, this 600-square-meter château built in the 19th century in the Haussmann style offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape. The 4000m2 landscaped garden features a heated 5 x 10 m pool situated at the base of the vineyards!
There are eight opulent bedrooms at Chateau Aquila, three of which are VIP rooms. Every one of the eight bedrooms has a separate ensuite bathroom. The expansive lounge features a panoramic fresque from the 19th century, while the well-equipped kitchen, dining area, winter garden, gym, relaxation area, sauna, and steam room are also present.
Five automobiles can park in the courtyard in front of the château, which is gated off. The terraced garden behind the château overlooks the pool area and the surrounding vineyards.
Access to the bottom of the garden, with its dwarf fruit trees and borders of wild lavender, is provided by a stone stairway that is tucked away among fig trees.
The pool kitchen in the summer house, which is close to the pool, has a refrigerator, a ceramic hob, a sink, and all the glasses and utensils needed. The stone barbecue next to the summer house is a true heaven, perfect for long summer evenings and lunch parties by the pool.

Please note that the Château is not suitable for people with reduced mobility or in wheelchairs.

Accomodation:

There is a 19th-century fireplace in the living room. With an electric fireplace system, you can enjoy more fireside evenings with loved ones without having to deal with the hassle of carrying wood and getting the fire going.
The dining room has a traditional fireplace where wood fires can be built. In our rental price, wood is included (this applies during cold seasons).
With large windows that overlook the parkland, the lounge is incredibly light and airy. Original features like the oak floor, wood panelling, and moulded ceilings create a real atmosphere.
You are welcome to use the library's books while you are visiting.

Evenings will be filled with entertainment thanks to an English-style pool table, a big screen HD television with satellite channels, a blu-ray DVD player, and a Playstation 3.
Meetings and seminars can be held in the lounge by making minor adjustments.

There are up to eighteen seats at the dining table. Similar to the lounge, the dining room's large windows let in plenty of natural light and showcase its lovely moulded ceiling, original wood panelling, and antique oak floor.
Near the dining table, there is a breakfast nook equipped with an electric kettle, George Clooney's preferred "Nespresso" coffee maker, a traditional coffee maker, and a Senseo coffee maker. 

The galley kitchen at Château Aquila is fully furnished with an oven, microwave, five-ring hob with extractor fan, dishwasher, large refrigerator, freezer, toaster and so on.
Along with tea towels, a complete assortment of kitchen tools, utensils, and accessories are provided.
You have access to a variety of herbs, spices, and condiments. Products for dishwashers are provided. There are two high chairs available. 

A laundry room is available with wash machine and dryer. There is also an iron and board. Washing liquid for the wash machine is provided.
