Casa Santa Rosa is on the outskirts of the quaint little village of Almadena where you will find plenty of good restaurants, several bars and markets within a few minutes walk. It's on a large property and so affords lovely open country views and quiet seclusion. This traditional white stucco and tile roofed villa is surrounded by a lovely pool, terraces, lawn, flowering shrubs, plenty of garden furniture, and a barbecue for outdoor dining. On the main floor the comfortable living/dining room opens to the covered terrace, the large kitchen is modern and fully equipped and there's a separate laundry room. Two of the three twin bedded rooms open to the pool terrace, and there are two baths on this floor. Upstairs is a large open sitting room with a double sofa bed, a third bathroom, and a sun terrace with pleasant views. If you are planning a larger group, keep in mind that Casa Santa Ana (see PO-ALG-001-02) is only a few steps away from Casa Santa Rosa. Lagos is only 12 kms and Praia da Luz is 4 kms, so there's plenty of opportunity to explore, partake in water sports, golf, and beach activities.
The west Algarve is a delight to visit. Much of the coastline has beautiful sandy beaches and warm blue water. The history and culture of the entire area is captivating. The colorfully painted village houses clustered over cobblestone streets are pretty as picture postcards. And it was from here that mariners were sent out by Prince Henry the Navigator to discover whether the world was flat. Excellent seafood restaurants, boutiques, artisan shops, and resorts give added zest to your exploration of this wonderful area of Portugal .
Casa Santa Rosa is a beautiful and quiet location to relax and enjoy the beauty and climate of the Algarve. The spacious and comfortably furnished living/dining room has a fireplace, music center with CD player, large modern well-equipped kitchen with a delightful dining area, a laundry room, three twin bedrooms, and three bathrooms. The upstairs offers another large sitting room with a double sofa bed with a sun terrace and pleasant views.
