Casa Helicon is located on the edge of the picturesque village of Koutouloufari in northern Crete. Overlooking the Gulf of Hersonissos and Malia, this villa boasts panoramic views from both the house and the terraced garden. Built in 2005, Casa Helicon has all of the modern conveniences included. Constructed of stone with open beam ceilings, tile and wood floors, and tiled kitchen and bathrooms, the casa is smartly furnished for complete comfort.
There are three bedrooms, two bathrooms plus a half bathroom, an open and light living room with attached dining room, a kitchen and a storage room. Outside, there is a terrace with a table and chairs and BBQ for guests to enjoy outdoor dining. On the lower landscaped terrace are a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sun umbrellas and deck chairs, and a playground area for children.

Casa Helicon opens into a stylishly decorated living area that includes comfortable furnishings, satellite TV and DVD player, a stone wall with fireplace, and double doors that open onto the garden. The adjoining dining room has a table and chairs for up to six people, and double doors that open onto a verandah with an outdoor entertaining area. Adjacent to the dining room is the fully equipped kitchen, which includes a stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine and toaster. Also on the ground floor are a half bathroom, a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer, iron and ironing board, and an office corner equipped with a PC, phone, and Internet access available on request.
On the second floor is a master bedroom with a queen bed, an ensuite shower bathroom, and a private balcony with a stunning view of the sea. In addition, there are two bedrooms each containing two twin beds (convertible to queen beds,) and a bathroom with a Jacuzzi bathtub.
Casa Helicon is located on the edge of the picturesque Cretan village of Koutouloufari. From there, it is only 1 ½ miles to the port of Hersonissos, and a short ½ mile walk to the beach. The city of Heraklion is 15 miles away. Attractions in the surrounding area include:
• Star Beach water park is a 5 minute walk from the villa where you can find fitness equipment, spa services, diving, Go Kart driving, and horse back riding.
• Tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts are available at the neighbor hotel/resort.
• An 18 hole golf course is located 3 ½ miles from the villa.
• Book boat trips from the harbor at Hersonisson to explore nearby islands.
