Apartment Palazzo is a fascinatingly ornate apartment with large rooms where the antique furnishings are combined with the artwork of the owner, a well known Italian painter. The atmosphere is elegant and aristocratic, with a twist of unique and unconventional style.

The apartment sleeps up to six guests and features two beautiful bedrooms, three bathrooms, a large sitting room full of light where guests can gather, an elegant dining room with seating for six, and a small but very functional kitchen (recently remodeled) that includes an oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker and all utensils.

*Please note: prices listed are for four guests. Additional guests are 25 USD/night per guest (3 night minimum). Also, due to the delicate nature of some of the artwork, children must be well supervised. Prices are weekly so please inquire for shorter or longer stays.

Apartment Palazzo is ideally located in the center of Venice, five minutes\' walk from the Frari Basilica and 10 minutes from the Rialto bridge, but out of the main tourist stream. The apartment overlooks the small square \"Corte Amaltea\", tucked as a secret hiding place in the heart of one of the most beautiful and interesting cities in the World. The Palazzo is excellently located because Piazzale Roma (car, bus and taxi terminal) can be reached with a 10 minutes walk and the railway station is within 15 minutes walk. Also, the nearest vaporetto stop \"San Toma\" can be reached within a pleasant five minute stroll.

"We rented this property for three nights in July with our two children (12 and 10). It was the best place that we stayed in Italy! It was close enough to the main tourist sites by vaporetto or by walking (about 10 - 15 minutes to the Grand Canal) but yet removed from the hordes of tourists that you would have at a location closer to those sites. The art (and the air conditioning) in this apartment were fantastic. It was very quiet at night. There were several good restaurants in the vicinity - We would certainly stay here again. The owner was very helpful and responsive.\\\\\\"

"I spent the most sensational week in this lovely flat, which i rented together with 2 other friends for a week in July. It really is one of the most charming places I have ever visited, it drives you to the past. A perfect setting, which combines both the comfort you seek while on holiday,while also preserving all the elements of tradition and history of a noble family home in Venice. The owner was extremely helpful both before the holiday and during, providing us with so much information about the area, how to move arround, both do\\\\\\\'s and dont\\\\\\\'s! Is the perfect location to enjoy Venice, a few minutes walk from the main sites, the most charming scenery to imagine venecian noble families way of living. Plenty of art works of the owner in the walls provide a unique romantique ambience! We all completely fell in love with the flat, the area, and Venice.
