Also near the subway station of Verdaguer, 200 meters away. This station is both on the yellow and the blue subway lines. The 'Casa de les Punxes' (House of Spikes) is a famous building on the Diagonal Avenue also located a few blocks away. Barcelona is a city with architecture that is out of this world, has a super friendly ambience that is unique to the world, and a world class night life. If you would like to take a day trip you can rent a car for a day or two and keep it in a guarded parking garage very close to the apartment. They charge about 19 EUR per day in a parking garage very close to Valencia Street apartments. There is another parking garage near Portal Nou apartments that charge 21 EUR per day.
